You need to raise the engine to get some working room then feed it backward over that obnoxious stud that is directly underneath and behind the Crankshaft pulley. Does the Dash really need to be removed to get at the Heater
Ok, that the entire dash needs to come out is what my local mechanic then quoted me $1400 for the job. My Haynes manual said you can get to the Heater Core housing directly by peeling back the carpet and some kick panels.
