This is an old thread, but I'm responding so I can find these instructions when I break the other turn signal assembly. I purchased a Dorman replacement for my 2000 V70XC, which Amazon delivered in about 24 hrs(!!). When pushed in correctly, this fit perfectly - tight, with all the right connectors....

Bummer that the original question is still unanswered: How do you properly (tightly) mount a new rotor to measure runout when installing it on a car with lug bolts that are too long to fully tighten? For my car (Volvo V70XC) it appears the lug bolts are too long to fully tighten the rotor to hub. So...

Interesting. If not worried about cleaning, one could presumably just blow out the cooler. I'll try this next time.

FLXC - I've done my trans fluid twice. On my 2000 XC fluid flows from the tranny out of the top hose to the cooler. I don't understand your "cooler cleaner". What/how does this work? I just replaced the radiator, and only about 8 oz of transmission fluid flowed out of the bottom radiator f...

I'll defer to those more expert than me, other than to say I would not recommend your procedure. You'll put a lot of stress on components, perhaps damage your transmission, and you still won't know whether the viscous coupling (VC) is part (or all) of your problem. I also have a drive train problem ...
