1985 245 DL Turn Signal and Hazards Occasionally Fail
About a week ago as I was making a left hand turn I heard a louder than normal click, almost a crunch, when my wheel returned to center. Ever since then my turn signal and hazard lights have been sporadically failing. When they are working the rhythm of the turn signal isn't right either. I'd apprec...

1985 245 DL No Start
We're on our third fuel pump relay. I dissected the first one and it actually appears to be in good condition. I suspect the in tank fuel pump is the problem based on symptoms just before the no start.

Re: '85 240 Turn Signal
It appears that the switch for the hazard warning flashers was damaged when my center console was torn apart. Fortunately I have a parts car and was able to exchange the switch and get the turn signals going. Appreciate the help here.

Re: '85 240 Turn Signal
I did not, they did remove the panels on both sides of the center console as well. I can't say that I would know what they looked like if I saw them. Just to the right of where the driver's right leg would be there did appear to something that looked like a relay clipped to the frame, but I didn't w...

Re: '85 240 Turn Signal
That's what it is, cigarette lighter socket.
It appears this doesn't really solve my turn signal dilemma.

Yes, it's a wagon. I just looked and it is definitely yellow and black. The rear wiper on mine is right of the steering wheel on the stick that control the regular wipers.

'85 240 Turn Signal
Sadly someone decided to break in and steal my CD player. In the process they tore apart my center console and as a result my turn signal and emergency signal do not work. I'm guessing if wires in the center console are reassembled correctly it may resolve the issue. For the most part it seems fairl...

No Power In 2nd
'85 245 DL, 110K The car starts fine, but once it shifts into 2nd there is no power at all. I continued to step on the gas but the RPMs didn't seem to go up and it felt like it was choking or bogged down. I took my foot off the gas completely and while it was in 1st everything seemed fine. I'm a com...
