I'm replacing Sumotomo's. Got 55K on a 70K tire. They were very noisey too. Why does Volvo only recommend rotating from front to back as opposed to rotating in all 4 directions? I understand you have to do that if they are directional, but what about when the are symetrical (non-directional)?

I did the test again and as I loosened the nuts on the MS the tires rotated more freely. It's definately the booster. Just called NAPA to make sure they would take it back.
