Re: 2001 V70 XC Transmission Cooler Line
Thank you for the advice. The only reason I didn't want to drain the transmission was because it took me so long to fill it back up thru the dipstick tube. The reason I don't just buy a new transmission cooler line is because it probably will cost about 1/3 of the value of the car. ($100) I believe ...

Re: 2001 V70 XC Transmission Cooler Line
I broke the weld on the first photo shown above the one that screws into the transmission. Maybe a can use a small worm drive clamp to hold the broken bracket to the hose. (and maybe some JB Weld) Anyone have any idea how I might keep the ATV fluid from draining out while I repair it? Anyone used so...

2001 V70 XC Transmission Cooler Line
On my lower transmission line on the end that bolts in to the transmission the bracket that bolts in has come unattached. Seems like when I tightened the bracket that is half way up the line it caused the lower bracket to come unattached. Has anyone repaired this without having to purchase a new tra...

2001 V70 XC P0440 P1237 Codes
Volvo threw both the P0440 and P1237 codes at the same time. Replaced the Turbo Boost Solenoid (part # 30670449) for the P1237 code and reset both codes and then the P0440 code came back so I replaced the Evap Purge Valve (part # 9470775) So my question is might there be a reason both these valves f...

2001 V70 XC Rough Idle/Shuts off at hard brake
Any help would be appreciated. Car has a rough idle. (RPM's do not seem to be surging) Also, it has shut off a couple times when braking hard. There are no codes.

Re: v70 Lower Front Engine Mount (hydraulic)
xHeart,
I really appreciate your help. It would be better if someone may have replaced the bracket before and can tell me exactly how to do it. It seems strange that I can't find this having been done previously.

Re: v70 Lower Front Engine Mount (hydraulic)
xHeart,
Is your comment that once I complete all those other steps I should be able to figure out what I need to do?
petek153,
FCP videos tell ho to remove the mount not the mount bracket.
Does anyone have the workshop manual?

Can't I just support the engine below? Does anyone know what the shop manual says?

Re: v70 Lower Front Engine Mount (hydraulic)
Just took a look at it and the bracket is obviously broken so it needs to be replaced. Also seems like the reason it is missing a bolt is because it was snapped off and the threaded half is embedded in the engine block. Does anyone have instructions for changing the front lower mount bracket?

Re: v70 Lower Front Engine Mount (hydraulic)
I appreciate your help. You are not sure of how many bolts there are or how hard it is to access them?
