do not see anything listed for engine or fuel in fuse box/relay in trunk so where do you suggest might be simple if it was lights but it is dying and will not restart

while driving about 50 mph on freeway lost power and pulled to side of road. Would not restart then a guy stopped and said he knew this issue and opened the trunk pulled out fuses or relay and reinstalled them and vehicle started.
