Re: Android Torque app for OBD2 volvos

Thanks for the info folks. I'll try installing the software on my tablet and see what happens. No codes right now , but intrigued as to how the program works.

Re: Android Torque app for OBD2 volvos

The ELM 327 Scanner is going for $12.12 w/ free shipping on amazon right now if anyone is interested. I just didn't know if this thing would work on a 2002 S60, but sounds like it works on older models

Re: s70 readiness?

It has been 20 years since I lived in a state with emission testing, Sorry to ask a stupid question.... Is it now practice to just read the ODBII port? NO tail pipe testing?

The EPA has a list of states with OBD emissions testing. http://www.epa.gov/obd/status.htm

In Illinois, where I live, we ...

I've ordered from them and have been happy with their prices and speed of delivery. I remember using "mvs" for an extra 10% off as well.

Re: How to replace driver seat side panel

I just replaced the drivers side seat control panel on my 08 XC90 and thought a short might be helpful. I bought the part from VolvoPartsWebStore.com for $13.60 without shipping which was the cheapest I could find. I picked up a few other things to justify the shipping (oil filters, crush washers ...

Re: Stabilizer Link

I was able to change the front links on my 02 s60 without an impact wrench, although having one would have made my life a little bit easier. I had to use a wire brush, PB Blaster, and vise grips instead. There's another thread here that was helpful also

Re: AC: passenger side vents warm on XC70

I ran into the same problem as the OP this spring/summer. The driver's side was blowing cold air at about 40 degrees while the passenger side was blowing about 15 degrees warmer. Added about a quarter can of r134a and solved my problem. The low side port on my 2002 s60 (non-turbo) is under the power ...

Re: 2002 S60 (Non-turbo) Charcoal Canister/J Hose Replacemen

The repair of the split hose doesn't seem like it has affected the performance of the vehicle, but I haven't driven it much because my wife uses this car for the most part. With regard to the other symptoms you're experiencing, you might be having an issue with your ETM. Go here (https://www ...
