Thanks guys!!
Wetbackzo, wish I could find a 240 or 740 turbo here, but they seem rare in this area. Kmaniac, I wish I could fit a slant-6 in there, I'd be in heaven.!! We have a turbo slant six turning mid 9's in 1/4 and soon to have one in high 8's. (pics available if interested) I have already learned to stay ...

Best Years for 240 and 740???
Ok Guys, I need good solid opinions! What is considered the best years for the 240's and the 740's, and why? Recently bought a 850 turbo wagon and love it. Now I want an early model 240 or 740 sedan (GLE)? I'm looking at 89's to 94's just because there seems to be alot of them here in NC. Thanks for...

v6=bad idea
Thanks Johng, I went and looked at the v6 and have already decided it wasn't for me. There is no room for working on the engine and it is poorly designed. After driving it, I really believe the inline four has a better power range. The v6 had more low end but was a loud dog on the interstate. The in...

2.8 V6 vs inline 4
I'm looking at two different 760's to purchase. I can't seem to find any info on the reliability of the V6 2.8 engine. Is this a reliable engine compared to the inline 4? Any help and all opinions are appreciated.
Thanks,
R. Drake

CD arrived from ebay. It is a Mitchell clone, not bad but not great either.
Lot of info but I still like alldatadiy best so far. Hoping to find a VIDAS clone online.

This board is a must!!!
So far I like ALLDATA, except like Mark said the search function is junk. VIDAS is great but expensive. I got a cd on ebay but it hasn't arrived yet. This board has been a fantastic help for me, Matthew is doing a great service and all the people who share their knowledge. This is my first turbo and...

Thanks Sean, I looked into the VIDAS system today and for the price I think ALLDATA is a better buy. I still have to move a computer to the garage but I guess that is the times. Have a look a ALLDATA and give me your opinion. Anyone else is welcome to jump in also. ALLDATA seems to have more fault a...
