I’ve just developed a similar issue with my 98 s70 glt. It starts right up, drives fine, the out of no where it shuts off, stalls out. It starts right back up every time but can stall at random. No idea what’s causing it.

I removed and cleaned the idle air valve under the throttle cable cover. I cleaned out the throttle body. So far so good I just took it for a 30 min ride and no stalling. I’m on to fixing the a/c now so I can run it to make sure it’s working.

Well it appears the pump is running my wife hears a faint sound and I have adequate pressure. The cap, rotor and wires appear to be in order. No cracks etc. while searching the site I did find an older post with a similar issue from ozark lee, stating to clean the ICV and the MAF. So that’s next/ to...

No it is a slide fan speed with an auto option. No degrees for temperature. MCC
