I can't figure out why the top hose would be overheated and the bottom hose would be cold. ?? The coolant isn't leaking, it must be evaporating.

S60 Temperature Guage/Coolant Issue
I have a 2007 S60 Volvo. My coolant warning light comes on *stop safely coolant low*....checked coolant and it is slightly low...filled. This has gone on for two whole bottles of coolant. Checking hoses, the hose on the top side is very hot and the hose on the bottom is cool. No coolant is leaking, ...
