I've noticed a bit of a vibration from the engine when I'm pulling away, it's not severe, just annoying as it makes the dash rattle!

Any ideas chaps?

Well, having put the right plugs in, I've been instantly rewarded with an average 23mpg. Dizzy heights indeed! BTW my car has 129,000 miles on the clock and I do a good mixture of driving, short runs and lengthy journeys.

I don't know know about my city/highway, but I average 31 when I'm mostly commuting (116 miles on freeway, 16 miles in town, per day), and if I'm mostly driving around town it drops to about 25. 1997 850 T5 with 161k running 19psi, 205/55-16's, Ipd springs. Those numbers are by doing the math mysel...

....Just been reading about multiple-ground electrode plugs, and I reckon i've been mis-sold em because they can't be gapped, and they're twice what they wanna be (0.053")

OK, I finally got round to replacing the cam seal and sure enough, there were tiny beads of moisture in the distributor cap again.
Hopefully it is now sorted!

Hi there, thanks for the post. I haven't washed the engine bay, and the distributor cap was brand new 3 weeks ago. I actually am now thinking that if my cam seal is duff, maybe that could have created some condensation in the distributor. Worth noting- I haven't had a chance to do the cam seal yet. ...
