It's running strangely smoothly – I think it knows that I'm thinking about selling it

We were just really fortunate that happened in the parking lot and not on the expressway !

I'm concerned about the turbo on this 98 V70 T5. - not sure if lack of boost is a sign it's completely failing and needs to be replaced or if it can be repaired without a huge expense. And has virtually no boost anymore

I just put in new struts in the front – my buddy who help me ...

one last question: could pressure be being built up/hoses blowing be from some other cause besides the ancient-ness of most of these hoses?

yes I think that is correct- 2 hoses coming off fire wall to engine block side?

My fun to drive 850 with @ 220k on it- just got way less fun -

In the past week the lower radiator hose blew- fixed it - then today as I hit the gas getting on expressway
another "bang" - steam pouring out from the hood- couldn't even get it to limp home.
I looks like the one of the heat exchanger ...

Replaced valve- 3 minutes - parts guy at Pep Boys gave me the valve stem for free

No harm in the long run

It was anything but funny when I realized that I had been driving on basically a bomb - and that I had been driving with one of my kids in the car
The fumes were so strong - and that I didnt think it was gas- was a total shock-
