Are the accelerator pedals plug and play on the 1999's ?

Has anyone had this experience with an ETM change ?

1999 V70 Base N/A Automatic 190k.

Update....After replacing the fuel pump relay it has been running fine.

I drove the V70 to work today and was in and out several times on calls and it ran fine.
I was waiting for the light to change and thought well I guess the cables were the problem.
The light changed and I went through the intersection and the car died just like before.
Let it sit about 20 mins and ...

I just finished getting the 1/0 cables hooked up.
The voltage at the battery was exactly the same as the alternator output...14.00 !!!
I turned every electric option on high and the voltage was still the same between the
battery and alternator (13.5). It was late so I didn't test drive it but it ...

Update
I checked the resistance on the battery cables this evening.
Test was done with the car cold and not running.
The negative cables ohm at .2.
All of the positive cables were at .3 respectfully.
The cables appear to be in good shape. There not corroded.

What should the output be on these alternators ? I have read 13v - 14.8v.
My V70 stalled out (3) times today. Twice on my wife (1st time in am and 2nd in afternoon) and once with me this evening on a test drive. Let it sit 15-20 min and would restart again.
