Battery is 2 years 4 months and maintained regularly.

The headlights on my V70 fluctuate in intensity when the car is started in the AM. After about 15 seconds they settle down to normal brightness. Anyone know of a cause for this occurance.

Apparently the most common problem with the check engine light evap code is a loose or faulty gas cap, you may wish to start there. Another problem is if you top off you gas tank after the nozzle shuts of you run the risk of liquid fuel getting into the evap system and this will set the code too.
