I had a 1996 850 with 200,000 miles, now have a 2005 V70 with 85000 miles. Hate to say it but the handling, roominess, and style of the 850 was superior. If I could have found an 850 in good condition when I needed to buy a new car (my 850 was victim of hit/run), I would have.
