For now I'm going to pretend that I somehow "fixed" the air flow meter by reinstalling it. This is nonsense, of course, but the car runs nice and I have a 360 mile trip Saturday to test the milage. Then I'll reset the codes and see what my brain box tells me is wrong, if anything. One thin...

subbing for air flow meter?

My '93 wagon is showing 'air flow sensor' in it's trouble codes. I just got the car with 200K on the clock and it's getting about 27mpg at highway speeds. The air flow meter number is 0280 212 016. All I can find is a 0280 212 007 meter. Can this be subbed in or do I have to wait to find a 016? Also...

I'm looking at two different 760's to purchase. I can't seem to find any info on the reliability of the V6 2.8 engine. Is this a reliable engine compared to the inline 4?
