i will try adjusting the wastegate rod,the seals have gone in the old turbo but it is the light pressure one anyway.the one fitted to the engine just now is the high pressure turbo.am i right in saying this is the better of the 2 turbo units? thanks

finally a few chapped knuckles later and the new engine is in.there wasnt any problems and everything mated up nicely,we changed injectors over from old engine and it runs fine although i do have a performance issue it seems to be a bit slower like you said.do you know can the ignition timing be sor...

hi there, i had the same problem with my 2001 t4 and it turned out to be the valve stem oil seals.had them replaced and its ran perfect ever since.this might not be the same problem you are having but hope this helps
