Aye it's very common this!
The signals flash on unlocking but not locking.
they don't flash because there's an area that hasn't been secured/monitored.
The bonnet in my experience of everyone who has experienced this the cause. Open it - let it drop from about a foot. Sorted!

There''s only one rear Fog light for a reason. Putting another one in is asking for trouble. People have been prosecuted before now for doing this, as it masks the brake lights. since you've modifed the vehicle form Standard - your insurance will also be void. Not worth it for the sake of it looking...

Blinds
Could also look at getting blinds for the rear and rear side windows. Volvo produce them specifically designed for the S60 - and they have the added extra of looking like tints - and keep the car cool - unlike actual tints where the interior will cook. I went down the blind route and they look great...

If you plan to keep for 15 years etc..forget the dealers..find a good independant garage, easily half the costs for the same service - with original parts. Those mileage quotes are also a little too often, depending on your driving/distance/stop start intervals etc...the indy will recommend a more &...

I've not come across this before - but if the dealer is saying that a software 'upgrade' is required to fix the problem - then that's pretty much them admitting the original software was pants and they have created a fix. I'd argue that it was obviously faulty out the factory, and they should be obl...

it's nearer 8 minutes! Don't you have a hand book - says it all in there. Next thing to catch you out - which isn't documented is the air-con blower coming on when you've been parked up for a while. This usually occurs about an hour after you've parked - and dries out the condenser to prevent mildew...
