My air pump is really loud. I am new to volvo but I don't think that this noise level is original design. It of course starts with initial startup but when I stop at a light or pull into a parking lot it is embarrassing. I can hear it over the radio and have to raise my voice to have a conversation....

Thanks. I though of that also, I was just wondering if it could be part of the emissions, like some type of valve.
