You will have to replace the valve body and the shift solenoids. This is what I gathered from the research I have done. Also from what I have read is if it goes bad you will end up just replacing the transition.

My "new" 02 XC has a Bosch throttle body. That is a good thing. Some of the 02 models have had the transmission changed some time mid year.

You can tell easy enough if the TB has changed over. The Morelli is square under the manifold. The Bosch unit is smaller and more round.

Dead battery will cause these issues. Get your battery charged and tested and see it it helps. Could need to be replaced.

Issue. Before radiator cooling fan kept running after ignition switch was off to the point of draining the battery. In between getting a "new" fan from Erie Vovo I just unplugged the socket on top of the radiator fan shroud. This saved the battery. Got the new fan motor now the ...
