Re: My radiator cooling fan isn't working, can't figure out!
I think I may have a blown head gasket. It doesn't smoke, doesn't leak, runs fine, but overheated.... again. Everything in the cooling system is brand new aside the fan, which is working. It just gets too hot and the coolant boils out.

Re: My radiator cooling fan isn't working, can't figure out!
Thanks gilhuly. I cleaned it out pretty good but the guts inside of the connector were really corroded and made of some plastic material. I ended up taking most of it out. The leads are in great shape so I cleaned them up good and put some dielectric gel all over them and pushed them all the way out...

Re: My radiator cooling fan isn't working, can't figure out!
Hello... hope you all find yourselves well. I just changed out my radiator and nothing is leaking. At this point I have changed every major part of the cooling systems. New waterpump, radiator, thermostat, expansion tank, cap, thermostat and hoses. Seems to be ok except sometime during the swap, I m...

Re: On-Line parts source?
I would also add IPD to the list of great online sources. I've ordered from them a few times and it comes pretty quick. The best thing to do is check around for the best deal. I have bought things from FCP that IPD also carried but because of the difference in price or shipping, and vise versa I wen...

Don't even get me started with Fords. The Exploder is the worst car/ SUV ever made. Electrical problems, fuel system problems. POS! The only car worse is a Ford Escort. Fix Or Repair Daily is no joke.

Re: jerks to the right on highway
The worst ones are those jerks in their Tour De France gear that actually think they are pedaling fast enough to ride in the middle of the lane. Times like those make me wish I had one of those mechanical arm things and a really loud airhorn when I drive past them. lol That would be a pretty nasty l...

All of this needs to be put into perspective. I am in JRL's corner on this one. That being said, everything in the world works this way. To make a pizza costs about $2.15 yet we pay upwards of $20 dollars to scarf one down. The price of labor alone is insane when we take our cars to the dealership s...
