resolved update 
OK - after working with Chris at XeMODeX who was helpful in troubleshooting problem, ending up repalcing ignition coil - car is back to running smooh without any issues .....

Greetings to all - 2001 v70xc 92k, 2nd ETM just failed :( - just replaced with Xemodex, :) at the time of new ETM install, replaced MAF with new BOSCH oem from FCP as well as IAT sensor and MAP/BPS sensor - car drove good, noticed no problems at initial test drive of about 5 miles.
