thanks again for your input. fyi: SR portion stands for sunroof--figured that one out from checking out CPO cars on volvo website...duh!......assuming you are correct and T is indeed turbo but not confirmed.... checked out etm info...so if i take it in for the etm, volvo is going to run new etm soft...

thanks--that's a good thought--stupid question: my car is an '01 v70 2.4TSR....does that mean it's turbo? (from what i understand, only the turbos qualify for the warranty)..thanks.

that is my quandry...'01 coming up on warranty...current trouble is is the engine revs a bit when inappropriate--rpm's kind of go wild but car continues to drive ok...dealer states it could need a software upgrade...any thoughts on this? though the revving is more of an annoyance than anything else,...
