Last week they finally gave me a check for $2600, and I had to haggle with them and produce receipts and it took forever to get them up from $1700. Everytime I talked to them they were like "oh, I didn't notice the leather seats" and "you had a glass moon roof?" I had to have them come out 4 times ...

I think its a vacuum leak too. I had that and it was the plastic hose / tube between the air cleaner and engine. Easy to fix yourself if you buy the part. There were multiple cracks way down under it where you can't see them.

Yeah, sadly, that's what I figured. I will see what I can do with all the bills and all, but I guess I'll be getting out of owning Volvo's for a while

I would also check the hose between the air cleaner and the throttle body. I had a similar problem and there was a crumbled hole in an out of sight part of that hose. I drive a standard and sometimes coming off the highway it would die on a feeder road when the clutch was put in. It wasn't getting ...

It works for a while (~15 minutes) then stops. If I turn it off, after several minutes I can turn the Ac back on and it will work again for a few minutes.

I had the same problem, and after seeing the hint on volvospeed, and it didn't quite do what I wanted I got a little ticked off, accepted that I would have to buy a new arm, took the non working one off and crammed it in between the gap of the tailgate of an inlaw's truck and bent that sucker in ...

Ok, now:

1. The temp sensors all work (supposedly) and are throwing no codes.
2. I put in as much coolant as it will take.
3. I jumpered the compressor and could hear it click and engage, and my wife could feel ice cold air come out.

Here is where the problem arises ...
