What's the condition of the front seats? Do you have photos?
I wonder how far off this is color wise from the 3960 of my car.
Maybe I can die to match?

Re: New to me 99' S70, base, 5-speed, 209k

I just harvested beige seats from a V70, and having bought seat bottoms, might have extra bottoms. Lets stay in touch in case we can share bottoms. That sounds too personal. I have a whole new cache of 99 Base NA parts of course, beige interior and Stone Black 019 exterior Wow, I am bottoming out r...

Re: New to me 99' S70, base, 5-speed, 209k

Slow progress is being made on this car. I finally installed a rebuilt ABS module (Thanks Matty Moo) which took care of the annoying warning lights. Plus it's nice to have a functioning ABS system again. Yesterday I went to NJ to harvest a complete interior from a 2000 S70, including headliner, stee...

99' S70, seat skin question

Hello All,

I am looking to freshen up the seats in my S70 and was wondering if the seat skins from a passenger seat would fit on a driver seat.
Do you guys know?

Also, are 99' and 00' seats the same?

Thanks, Dirk

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Went for a drive to salve my wounds over my New Beetle - masculine car that it is.. Found radiator seep. Good news Nissens FCP $57 Bad news 5.8 hours with first step being remove front clip... Those German engineers! Gotta love it. If there is a way to make things more complicated, they will ...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky)

The 850 got a little shoe polish treatment yesterday. The trim was badly faded and I always wanted to try this out.

We shall see how long this lasts. But it's super easy to apply and takes only minutes to do the bumpers.

Re: What other Euro brands do you own?

I’ve driven one of those Euro Capris ( not to be confused with the Mercury) fun. Do you remember what year and model? I've gotten a lot of comments over years, and it goes something like "hey my brother had one of those in the seventies". Oh really? Then people look at me funny when I tell them tha...
