I'm new to this forum, not new to fixing cars. I had very similar symptoms with a car years ago. Head scratching, stayed late to fix it. Found a bad ground caused after another mechanic missed the step of reconnecting the ground. might be worth checking- Random symptoms can be caused by poor ground.
