Yes, I have to replace mine as well. That's disappointing to hear that it's that difficult on the XC60. I replaced the one in my XC90 a few months ago, and I managed to do it in about 30 minutes.

Yes, that is a LARGE vacuum leak! The hose end just above it runs beneath the manifold to the left. I believe that is the hose to your brake booster.
