Thanks so much for posting this. I’m gearing up to do this on my wife’s XC60 and your write-up will be a tremendous help.
Thanks!

Re: 2010 XC60 AC Blower Motor Access/Replacement
Hi -
Yes, I have to replace mine as well. That's disappointing to hear that it's that difficult on the XC60. I replaced the one in my XC90 a few months ago, and I managed to do it in about 30 minutes.
Thanks!

That's a great point. Will do, Jimmy, thanks!

Yes, that is a LARGE vacuum leak! The hose end just above it runs beneath the manifold to the left. I believe that is the hose to your brake booster. Check it for dry-rot, cracking, splits, if good, add a clamp and press on. On second glance it looks smaller than the hose behind it, so it may run t...

2004 XC90 - Help in Identifying Hose (Pic)
Hi all - I'm diagnosing a rough idle/stalling issue on my 2004 XC90 T5 - symptoms very similar to a fouled/bad MAF. It started happening quite suddenly two nights ago. I just replaced my MAF in April of this year so I wouldn't have thought it to be the issue, but I cleaned it anyway (it looked visib...

2010 XC60 AC Blower Motor Access/Replacement
Hi all - I've been searching off and on for several weeks and haven't come across a write-up on replacing the AC blower motor on a 2010 XC60. Based on parts schematics I've seen, the location is right behind the main vents in the middle of the dash. Has anyone done this work before and have tips? It...

2010 XC60 Roof Rack and Cross Bar Question
Hi all - We have both a 2010 XC60 and a 2004 XC90. We are considering buying a roof cargo box and I was hoping we could get one to share between the two cars, and I'm assuming the trick will be to get cross bars for both cars. Are there any cross bars that are compatible with both cars? Or do I just...

2004 XC90 - Rear Brake Pad Replacement
Hi all - Started to do this, then ran into trouble :-/, so now posting some questions: 1. When removing the lower 7mm hex pin to remove the caliper, there isn't enough room for my 3/8" drive socket and 7mm hex socket. I ended up using a 7mm allen wrench (L-type) which was a pain as I could only...

Re: How much play is too much on top engine mount for a 2.5T
Thanks, for the quick reply. Yes, I suspect I have multiple mounts that are bad, and I'm trying to figure out which ones I can do myself. From my research, the top and front ones look very doable. I'm concerned about the rear one as that sounds like a bear to replace.
