Well I ran out options.... My 99 s80 continued to not start at the worst times... still showing "start prevented try again"... However I did find a Volvo dealer just 40 minutes away that ran a diagnostic and told me everything else that the car would need along with it needing a new igniti...

"start prevented try again" display / err message in on board display. So, FPatti88.... the spade connector appeared loose and you crimped it and you have had no further prob till this date 7/2011 I assume...if you get this post please reply if you have not had any further problems... than...
