Thanks cn90,cn90 wrote:I just did the whole 9 yards (TB, pulleys x2, front cam seals etc. etc.).
If you can wait then I will post a DIY (the cam seals are NOT easy!) with all detail soon.
I look forward to your DIY.
I wondered how difficult those cam seals were.

Re: Coolant Leak from the Turbo on 97 850 GLT
Thanks Gentlemen for the quick responses! As I went back in with a mirror, I found a hole the size of my little finger tip (3/8 ") I found what looks like a freeze plug that had been pushed out onto the ground. Are there any diagrams on the site that show that plug? I can see it on the rebuild ...

Coolant Leak from the Turbo on 97 850 GLT
Help! As I pour coolant into the reservoir it gushes out from what looks like the turbo, (I can only see it from below) initially I thought it was from the long metal line connection that returns back into the block, but closer inspection revealed it was right above it which, I think is the turbo. creamy looking oil?
Help Everyone, I just did an oil change because I noticed that my oil looks like a cup of coffee, creamy brown (see the pic) Is it that I have a leak somewhere or a busted gasket or something else? Up to 2 weeks ago it was normal looking. The car has never overheated at all. I replaced the radiator ...

Re: question about pcv system
Ozark Lee is completely right! That little nipple on the passenger side of the manifold is connected to the little hose that runs together with the big hose that goes to the oil separator/flame trap, then they both run together back to the same place on the other end which is the PTC on the big inta...

Hey Jimmy57,jimmy57 wrote:LOL, Smoke the car as in take it to a shop that has the smoke producing machine used for finding leaks.
Any idea how much a shop should charge for smoking the car?
My guess is a Volvo shop would be less expensive than the dealer?
