On an R ECU you don't hit fuel cut until 17psi as with the t5 it was 14psi I think. I was running 14psi with a MBC. You have to tighten your wastegate a little. 4.5 was stock for R and 3.5 for T5 I believe. That should get you to around 12psi. Good luck.

The MBC goes inline with the line from the TCV to the wastegate. That is all you need to do. Leave all other hoses alone. Should be fine.

Oil pressure is always good to keep an eye on. A wideband gauge would be best for watching A/F ratio. I made my own pod by the radio.

And I have my wideband in my vent.

Pretty common to get popping in a tuned car. If everything else looks ok I wouldn't worry about it!

But the R has more boost than T5! Therefore more torque steer! If everything is ok just drive it!

Wow alot of $$ will be wasted. The car in question is an R and that means front wheel drive turbo. The S60R is (I believe all wheel drive!) The Prius just does not have the power to create alot of torque steer! If you replace all the suspension it's still not going to correct the issue. The issue is...

Wastegates are separate I've seen some listed throughout eBay. I think you have to look it up as the Mitsubishi wastegate! I'm still playing around with the tune, and settings for my engine.
