i own a 2005 volvo s40 2.4i, the service engine soon message comes across, i try holding the odometer pin down but all that does is come up with three numbers that read across 035, the service engine soon message comes back across as soon as the car is started. Anyone have this happen as well?

Thanks for the welcome, no check engine light on.. wet distributor cap, that could interfere with how the motor runs. Is that something that can be dried or need to be replaced all together?
