Re: Quick Rad Bolt Size Question (98 S70 T5)
Just got things bolted back up. I ended up taking the other side off and running to the parts store. I will post sizes when I get done with the rest. They had a gauge so I was able to size things up. A one hour job just turned into a bunch of extra time.......

Quick Rad Bolt Size Question (98 S70 T5)
Getting ready to change rad hoses, t-stat, cooling sensor. I'm looking at the front under side of the car, preparing to drain the coolant when I notice a serious "tilt" in the rad. I start looking and the one side is probably 3 inches lower than the other. To my dismay, I see that one of t...

Re: No Oil Leak Or Burn - 2 Quarts Low - Where did it go?
Technically, no. The engine has always been quiet other than the injector noise. That's why I was so amazed that it wasn't ticking with a vengeance. Figured as much on the drain plug washer. I suppose this is a dealer only item and Advance wouldn't have them? Probably have to order a couple, I guess...

Re: No Oil Leak Or Burn - 2 Quarts Low - Where did it go?
Well, just finished going through everything and found nothing. Dry under the the sparkplug cover, minimal wetness around the turbo, no smoke from the dipstick tube, no oil in or around the airbox and tube, undercarriage pretty much dry(except for the tranny lines - been putting that job off  ...

Re: No Oil Leak Or Burn - 2 Quarts Low - Where did it go?
I'll give that a shot although I'm not quite sold. I had the cover off not too long ago and found a little oil sitting. Replaced the fill cap and cleaned it up a bit and it didn't come back. Will check it out for piece of mind , though. Thanks! jblackburn - I did notice that it is a little wet in th...

No Oil Leak Or Burn - 2 Quarts Low - Where did it go?
Checked the oil yesterday in the S70 T5 and found the dipstick dry! Only about 1500 miles into the oil change. The car doesn't leave any drops on the ground and doesn't seem to burn any. The engine has sounded fine. I would have thought that it would have made a heck of a racket being that low. Any ...

Re: WTB: S70 T5 Lower Front Splash Guard
Probably the same part. Hooks into the lower section of the nose piece and has a bolt on each end. Yeah, I figured the shipping was going to be the most prohibitive factor. It's so light but yet so friggin' big! When she told me to come out to garage, I just cringed and asked why...... Could have be...

WTB: S70 T5 Lower Front Splash Guard
My other half got hung up on a snow bank and ripped the splash guard off - the one that runs side to side under the radiator. This is a 1998 S70 T5. Hoping I can find one here cheap as I can buy a new one for $65 shipped. LMK what you have and how much shipped to 50701. Thx
