Hi,

diffusing is minimal. When i adjusted them on a Bosch headlight tester, the image i should have was perfect (european headlights)

I used american DOT headlights from Volvo which have much clearer glas then european ones. they were a gift from someone
who imported a US spec volvo.

There was a little bit of cutting at the back, because the lenses and reflector go in a little deeper. Only did put in the inner part
of the BMW . It's just a frame that you put in and connect to the Volvo wires in the Volvo headlamp. So you keep the original connector.

did put some BMW e36 Ci internals in my DOT headlights. I adjust them by using two pieces of m6 thread that are stickin out
of the back. It was a easy and pleasant fix giving me a lot of light already, before putting in HID.

I have a 1995 volvo 850 t5 estate, motronic 4.3. Car runs great with stock ecu.
Then i bought a 300hp chip, put it in another ecu and had great fun for a week, then suddenly no boost anymore.
The guy who made the chip told me he had never any problems like me( sold lots of them), and sended me ...
