how would this 8 inch harness achieve that? it doesnt change how far from the 02 sensor there is a plug, or how gar from the harness there is a plug, it seems to me that it just adds an extra connection. is it suposed to be able to be moved out of the way with 8 more inches or something?? weird. tha...

so i was talkin with a friend of mine today (he works at a euro car shop) and he said off the top of his head he remembered something about needing an updated harness on the 98+/- year v70. he said the harness clips into the main one for the O2 sensor and then the other end goes to the O2 sensor.......

i will do this again. i am not exactly sure what i can get rid of also now that i have deleated the secondary air system tho.

so i am still getting code 0133 and beside myself as to why. i have followed the harness from the front O2 sensor but my car (98 v70 non turbo) dosnt have the intermediate harness you are talking about. i visited the volvo dealer and the one they sell does have the extra 8 inches of wire/connectors ...

ahhh great. i will check with them right now my sas has been removed so its probably better if the new manifold doesnt have the hole for it.thank you for the lead.

hey can anyone recommend an affordable replacement site/brand for my v70 exhaust manifold? im not trying to spend $300-$600 on this. also any tips for getting her off without breaking studs...??? she is a non turbo and i think this is the root of my o2 sensor codes grr. thank you.

dont have a sas valve to cap off. the p/o removed it as far as i can tell. caped off the tree where the solenoid ( on fan shroud) was connected and also disconnected the pump under the battery tray. i resisted the urge to punt it across the yard. maybe someone else needs it........
