Re: C70 window regulator replacement

I have to thank you once, again, Jimmy...your post was extremely helpful. I finally finished installing the window regulator. Your pointers about the shims saved the day! I must have taken the WR in and out about twenty times. It works, and seems to be sealing pretty well, but it makes a noise only ...

Re: C70 window regulator replacement

Wow, Jimmy! Thank you for the extensive reply!

I'm in a rural area, and I am installing a used regulator...so I'm in for a ride.

Again, Jimmy, thanks for the generous reply!

C70 window regulator replacement

Well, I've finally removed the old window regulator. It turns out the rubber motor mounts failed. My immediate questions are how do I install the lower two corner bolts. (If you've done it before, you know the bolts I'm talking about.) Should I install the regulator, and then the glass? Actually, an...

Re: SC-901 connections

Thanks for all of the helpful replies! Starting from the left, two antenna inputs. Cd changer input? Two DIN inputs for the amps? Does this mean I need two of the harnesses that I posted? What is the green input? How would you label the two large rectangle inputs? Power input and speaker input? Than...

SC-901 connections

Here is an image of the back of the SC-901. Can anyone summarize the various connections on the back? SC-901 rear.jpeg I've considered doing the USASpec type device, but for a couple hundred more I could have a sweet Pioneer double din DVD player with bluetooth. The problem with a new HU is the fact...

Re: Rear End Suspension Link Replacement

My girlfriend, Kristen, is out of town for her daughter's volleyball tournament, and so, I took advantage of the freedom to change my end links, today. I no longer fear replacing end links, but I had hoped to be able to change the bushings at the other end of the Delta arm. I began as Grendel sugges...

Winter shoes...and Merry Christmas!

When I pulled the wheels for the first time, I noticed a stainless steel pin sticking out of the hub...what is that doo-hickey? One of the four was broken off...

MSD ignition coil '98 C70 install...

IMAG0668.jpg Okay, took a chance that the red wire was positive, and I was right. I even tested with my volt meter to confirm. I modded the mounting bracket for the original coil to mount the MSD coil. Using the cutoff disc and my Dremel, I cut off the rivets holding the old coil to the bracket. Th...

Question about '98 ignition coil...

I'm installing an MSD Blaster coil, but I'm trying to confirm the polarity of the original coil wires. It has a blue and a red wire. Can anyone tell me which is positive, and negative? I tried hooking up my volt meter, but there was no voltage showing even with the key turned to "on." Than...
