Wifes 09 S40 needs new transmission. Found one on craigslist. looking for info on pulling old one out and installing new one. any thoughts?

got the 640A code. lots of reading, not sure which way to turn. earlier s40 have a VVT solenoid that bolts onto head with four bolt. on this engine the VVT solenoid fits vertically into head. any suggestions to check?

Changed oil yesterday. Want to reset message. Instructions i have say to depress oddometer reset and turn key to II, let service light flash, release button.. turn ignition off. Turn back on to confirm.... So i depress odometer reset, turn key, but service message DOES NOT BLINK! What gives? Help! P...

Great news! Disconnected hi horn. Fuse did not blow! Ordered a horn off ebay! Thanks for all the help!

Found wiring diagram with CEM. And fuse 3 wihich keeps blowing. Also watched a video on how to remove. Thanks!

so the CEM needs to be replaced? Spoke to a retired volvo mechanic this afternoon. he seems to think the relay is on fuse panel beneath right dashboard...
