I have a 1998 V70 XC. It has 120,500 miles, odometrically speaking.
I live in Bellingham, WA, USA.
In the last year I have had all the brake pads replaced, the transmission flushed then filled with synthetic, oil changes every 4,000 with synthetic along with the normal checks ...

What! The alignment shop tech told me I was going to have to find something else. I was clearly ill informed. Thanks for the correction zenmervolt.

Bridgestone used to have a tire called the Blizzak. I still have a set and used them for my first season with a V70 XC. Yes, the all-wheel drive is a plus, but before this car I used them for two seasons on a front wheel drive Saab 9000.

Hey---dont know if it is this easy but if your TRACS OFF light is on, it should just mean that it is manually disengaged. Not necessarily showing a problem. Hit the TRACS button just behind the wiper control on the main dash face and the TRACS OFF light should go off meaning that if TRACS use is ...
