My 740 runs fine until I depress the throttle at cruise, then stumbles. Haven't checked id the ECU is turning the ejectors off (as it does at max MAF signal) but the air/fuel meter (added) DOES NOT deflect lean. Very little written on this. Same problem. In my case water was leaking past shield over HVAC fan inlet. Could not figure out how the water got from passenger front to Driver rear. Answer: thru hot air duct under carpet. Sealed shield with silicone--no more leaks. (except that **&$* sunroof. Pollen plugs the drain tubes.

turned out to be the incompatible ECT sensor. The swaped motor sensor was blackened, so it looked exactly the same as the LH2.4 black sensors.
