Does anyone know the reasoning for some of the 850s having different oil capacity? And which years have which setups?

Mine always had slight pressure even after fresh pcv with oem parts and cleaning out the block with wire brush at 130k miles.

I had a shop put a meyle end link in my volvo a long time ago and it bent on the way home driving on the dirt roads lol.

Does the ipd plate add any rigidity or does it just flex?
