Re: 2001 V70XC - Front Seat Replacement

Successfully replaced both front seats. It feels relatively firm than previous -- a placebo effect may be.

All motors are turning and electronic seat controller works. Driver's seat controller is inactive when key in ignition, however it operates with kay out -- normal?

Re: 2001 V70XC - Front Seat Replacement

Three motors, one for moving front and back, one for tilt, and third for up and down. Is the motor for backrest separate from this set of three?

Re: Steering Rack issue on 2006 XC70

Point taken, but I´d like to make sure i´m doing the investment in the right order, and in the most cost-effective option. I won´t do all at once, hence the request for advice. These are among the best cars. But any penny invested in an out-of-warranty vehicle will neither appraise nor return, but ...

Re: Time to say goodbye....T5

We had extreme cold temps (-46ºF) past winter -- fallen water and river freeze with smoke rising is a magnificent sight. B...

Re: 2001 V70XC - Front Seat Replacement

Here is a progress pix for front passenger. The only way, I found, is to tilt and flip it over on to the back seat, and then maneuver it out of the rear door. Re: 2001 V70XC - Repairing front drive axle Topic is solved
