Just did this on my '00 V70xc. Engine cranked and turned over then died. If I held the gas pedal down it would keep running but only at idle speed regardless of how far the pedal was down. Jumped those terminals and it started right up, ran like a top. So I took the relay housing off...Holy God this...

Anyone know how many models share the same fuel pump relay with the 2000 v70xc? It's the big red one with 103 printed on top.

Thank you for the quick reply. I found the problem and edited my post. When I bolted down the #5 module (the one under the big black plastic tube (turbo?)) I pinched the black wire for the #4 module under the bolt. All better now other than feeling pretty stupid...and lucky.
