If I clear logs with my ELM device and want to start ignition, the p0123 is there.

This is what I hear. A very high beep whith in the background little crispy things. Then after a few seconds it is like a 'shutter' closes.

I'll check it tonight if the thunderstorms stay away. If this is powerrelated what might be the cause then? Some bad wires or connections...?
