99v70xc coolant in oil
I noticed that I have some foam in my oil the other day. I've also noticed that I've been loosing coolant every so slowly but I couldn't figure out where. It seems to be making its way into the oil. I figure there are 3 options. 1. Head gasket. This is always the first place to look. I don't seem to...

99 v70xc stock exhaust mods
I'm wondering if anyone has bypassed the driver side muffler and went straight through to the passenger side muffler? Does it flow any better? How loud is it? My idea is to build a bridge to bypass the passenger side muffler and put a valve in with a dash mounted switch so when I want a loud perform...

Re: 99 v70xc p0036 p0136
Thanks for the tip lee. Is 2.2 ohm the magic number for resistance on the two white wires? When is this circuit going to be "hot", any time the ignition is on? I was under the impression that neither the front O2 or the rear O2 has a functional heater circuit is that not true?

As much as i love my v70 i'm about ready to put a brick on the gas peddle and send it over a cliff. Just to give a little background, I did an engine swap (to a 2.3 with a 16t turbo) about 6 months ago after blowing a head gasket. 2 months after I did that the transmission BLEW up (kaboom). Unfortun...

Re: 98 V70xc won't crank after collision
BMK thanks for the quick reply. I will add that to my list of things to try as soon as I get the car back from my local community colleges collision repair shop that is doing the body work :). Another suggestion I got was to try cranking it while moving the gear shifter because the Park Neutral safe...

98 V70xc won't crank after collision
hi all this is my first time posting to MVS but i have been reading for a while now. As stated in the subject my 98 v70xc won't crank since it was in an accident. the interesting thing about this scenario is that if i jump the stater solenoid with the ignition in the run position the car starts and ...
