Re: 1997 850 speedometer and odometer work intermittently
I think my ABS light is burned out. It doesn't come on when the key is turned on before starting the car. Anyway, I got an ABS module from the junk yard, put it in, and now everything is working fine, at least for the past couple of days. We'll see if that continues. Thanks a lot for everyones' input.

1997 850 speedometer and odometer work intermittently
Just got the car for my son. Odomter didn't work, so I replaced the broken gear. Now the speedometer and odometer work intermittently for a short time, then stop. I have heard this might be an ABS module problem, but any other suggestions?
Thanks
Thanks

I had the upstream sensors replaced. Still has the same codes. I'll try the smoke test.

Re: 2000 s80 P0036 and p0136 codes
What kind of fuel or air issues do you mean? I replaced the Maf sensor and cleaned the throttle body. I have checked carefully for vacuum leaks. Do you have any other suggestions for what I can check?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: 2000 s80 P0036 and p0136 codes
I spoke with my mechanic toady and he said that given the voltages, he thinks the problem is with the upstream sensors and recommends replacing those. He says info from the ECM goes through the upstream sensors to the downstream ones and if they are defective, it will throw the code for the downstre...

2000 s80 P0036 and p0136 codes
2000 S80 T6. P0036 and 136 codes (bank 1, sensor 2). Replaced both downstream O2 sensors with Bosch units. Still throws codes. Disconnected battery for 10 minutes, still throws codes. Idle is rough. Hesitates on acceleration. It has aftermarket plugs and a few aftermarket coils. No evident vacuum le...

fog lights won't turn on
2000 s80. Looks like it had fog lights before. It has the wiring, attachment plug, and the dash switch turns green when pushed. I put in new fog lights, but they won't light. No power to the attachment plug. Fuse is OK. Could the relay be at fault? If so, where is it located and how is it tested? Th...

Re: sunroof, roof lights and door locks stop working
The dealer says that the driver's side door lock latch was loose causing the door not to lock, which somehow affected the sunroof and lights. Reconnecting the door latch to the door lock assembly fixed the problem .
