My 2004 XC70 intermittantly displays an ABS light and warning in the message center. Dealer says I need a new Module BR106 for nearly 2 grand. I'm told their are other availabilities for this part. Can anyone shed some light for me? Is it something can do myself?

My 2004 XC70 intermittantly displays an ABS light and warning in the message center. Dealer says I need a new Module BR106 for nearly 2 grand. I'm told their are other availabilities for this part. Can anyone shed some light for me? Is it something can do myself?

Ignition is starting to stick, using both keys. I've been told this is common and the next step will be a complete lock-up of the ignition device. Dealer says it is a $600.00 part requiring coding to my keys.
