Awesome!!!! Thank you very much. That diagram is exactly what I am seeing. I noticed that the p/n 16 flange screw has a section of non-threaded shank and the bolts I used do not have that. I had my wife slowly bring up the rpm's in the driveway and somewhere between 2800-3400 rpm's there was pretty ...

Hi and thanks,

My best information is that it's a 1991 Volvo 740 (base model), the engine is B230F, and the transmission is AW70.

Hopefully I will get this figured out so I can move on to the transmission not engaging fourth gear.

Thanks again, Well, my pump and mounting brackets were different from that in the diagram. My pump looks like this. psp.jpg I concluded that it is mounted with four flange bolts (M8x1.25x16mm) through the mounting brackets. I put a straight edge from the power assist pulley to the crankshaft pulley ...

Hello all, I am am new to this site and have recently inherited this car from my in-laws. When they gave it to my wife it was making a squeaky belt noise which was the belt to the water pump / power steering pump belt. Here is my issue.
