My 89 did that last year and a new Air mass meter took care of the problem. Too bad they are rather expensive (but easy) to replace.

:shock: Was hoping someone had an answer, that even my mechanic has yet to figure out...My 740 has 238,000 miles . recently had Air mass meter replaced (it was idling badly). New Cap, rotor, plugs, wires and even a new coil. Lately, the car Only starts once a day in the AM when it's cold. and refuse...
