Newguy here, My 99 v70 developed the dash rattle and squeeks very annoying . After looking at several fixes, I tried the simple one, I made small wood wedges, tapped three of them about 1/4 in below the dash passenger side , they went down tight !

Then i used closed cell foam from the type you use ...

Hello, I have a 99 V70 Non- Turbo, 119,600 miles. Runs very well. Last night the check engine light came on. No overheating rough running or starting or oil lights etc.

Took it to a mechanic he says the CODE is PO420, Cat not running efficiently.

Also said that that code is sometimes in error ...

I had just read this post two weeks ago, and sure enough, this afternoon the ignition on my 99 V70 ( 112 K) would not budge.

And tomorrow we are taking off on a vacation !

AAA towed me home OK, Then I read the post again, used a cutting wheel just as depicted, pryed ...

Thanks to all for replying. However this is more than I planned. In a past car I just bought the louder clicker and plugged it in for $10 bucks. Apparently with a Volvo it is not that simple.

Anybody know where I can buy a louder turn signal clicker for the 99 V70 , getting harder to hear it as I get older as well as the car.

Also , where is it located on a 99 V70 ?

Hello, The front bumper and lower spoiler on my V70 is cracked. I would like to remove the whole thing to properly fix the crack and Bondo scrapes and sand and paint.

Anybody else do this ?

1) How does the bumper cover and lower spoiler come off ?

2) I plan to use SEM bumper paint or any other ...

Thanks for the info and video. However, it looks like there are no door plugs to access screws on the 99 V70 so they must be on with adhesive. I assume it will only take a heat gun to get the dented ones off but I don't know the best way to reattach some junk yard ones off a parts care , I guess a ...

Hello, I am looking to replace the dented outer plastic door protective trim on my V70.

Is the trim strip on with adhesive or clips ? Whats the best way to remove it?

Can I remove a strip from a S70 parts car to fit or do I have to buy new.
