ok, figured out the reason the engine was vibrating so badly was because the DSA was on. Jacked up the car, turned it on and spun it up to 50-60 mph. Engine didn't shake. Does it feel like the wheels are shaking? I am having the same problem in my s40. at about 55-60 it vibrates bad and you can almost feel it in the wheels but the steering wheel doesn't shake so I know it's not that.
