Its now over 2 months since I have had a CEL. I cleaned the throttle body with carb cleaner and also cleaned the electrical connections on the map sensor and the maf sensor. I also hovered out all the air filter box. Touch wood it seems to have done the job as no further CEL for 2 months.

I am having the same problems. After having the diagnostic tests done at a cost of £65, showed it was the fault code 140A which requires intake manifold pressure sensor replacing. The independant garage wanted £190 to change it. I bought one for £80 and chaqnged it myself about 10 min maximum, took ...

I also have the same problem on a 2004 v70 non turbo. Have changed the MAP sensor and still get intermitent CEL. Seems to go after messing about with the wiring. CEL goes out after usual 3 or 4 startups. Have used electrical contact cleaner on connection. no change. This fault only seems to affect 2...
